1. What are Hyundai Genuine Parts?

Hyundai Genuine Parts are the same parts used by Hyundai Motor Company to manufacture vehicles. They are designed and tested for the optimum safety, performance, and reliability to our customers.


2. When do I bring my car to an authorized Hyundai dealer for servicing?

During your regular Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) which is scheduled every 5,000kms or 3 months and in any event that your vehicle needs check-ups and warranty repairs.


3. Is the warranty of the vehicle fully transferable?

Yes, the warranty of the vehicle is fully transferable to the subsequent owner.


4. Can I have my vehicle serviced by other authorized Hyundai dealers other than my selling dealer?

Yes, you can bring your vehicle to other authorized Hyundai dealer for servicing which is most convenient to you.


5. When I have my vehicle serviced, are there documents that I should show to the authorized Hyundai dealer in order to avail of the services?

You should bring your Service Passport & Extended Warranty Booklet and present these documents to the Service Advisor when availing of services.


6. Should I lose my Service Passport, can I get a new one?

Yes, of course. Just bring your concern and coordinate with any authorized Hyundai dealer so that they can process your request. This may entail minimal charges.


7. What are genuine parts?

These are parts manufactured under the Hyundai trademark and distributed in export packaging through the Mobis network.


8. What are non-genuine parts?

These are parts which are not manufactured with Hyundai trademark and/or are not distributed through official channel. Meaning, all Hyundai parts that did not pass through Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles, parts, accessories and services in the Philippines are considered non-genuine parts. They may have been obtained through the following unofficial supply channels:
• Parts for domestic sales in Korea
• Parts distributed overseas directly by suppliers
• Imitation parts
• Parts for aftermarket
• Recycling and used parts.


9. What are gray parts?

Gray parts are kinds of non-genuine parts. Parts manufactured with the Hyundai Genuine Parts trademark and are distributed through non-official channel.


10. Do genuine parts have warranty?

Yes, definitely, if the part was purchased from and installed by an authorized Hyundai dealer. The warranty for service parts is 12 months or 20,000kms from the date of purchase.
